Anti Matter Man is one of my favorite LIS episodes. I was glad to see the series return to a more serious tone, and I enjoyed seeing Guy have a "meatier" role. He was great in it. Mark was really good too. 

The only tidbit of interest I can share is that I know there's a scene where Will is being pulled along a foggy "bridge" to limbo, and they had run out of time with me by the time they got around to shooting that, and so it's my stand in, a lovely gal named Sandy! Wish we'd done more episodes like that one.

What did he love?
I loved the make-up sessions. The false beard and scar over my eye made me feel like a completely different character from Don West. 

What was fun?
Boy! Was it fun being evil. Yelling, screaming, threatening John Robinson with the charm was my release for some of the frustrating moments I experienced while the Robot was being foggy. 

It was nice to see Guy Williams and myself have a chance to do some serious acting during this episode. 

"Anti-Matter Man" was one of LIS' finest and more serious science fiction themes. And even I get a chuckle out of the bit at the end with the "Bad" side of the Robot! 

The Blooper?
When I was torching Guy Williams in the cage, I pulled the torch too close to myself at one point, and singed my false beard. No matter - we just kept shooting.

During filming the Anti-Matter Man there called for a scene where the Robot, meets a Anti-Matter Robot. Well the crew wheels me into the cave where the scene takes place and there is the Anti-Matter Robot laying on its side painted black and white. 

The scene also called for an exchange of dialogue from the two Robots. How was this done? 

Well they ran an extension cord from the Anti-Matter Robot's neon, which was our stunt Robot, painted black and white, to the Hero Robot which I was in. As we exchanged our dialog I operated the Anti Robots response with a Q type button that they had mounted on the inside of my claw in the hero robot. The magic of Hollywood!

Out of all the episodes of LIS I have to say I like "The Anti-Matter Man" the best. In this episode, we get to see Mark Goddard and Guy Williams at their best - in duel roles, Mark as Drun and Guy as the evil John Robinson. 

The camera work by Director Sutton Roley was brilliant with his closeups, overhead views, and camera angles. Out of all the directors from LIS, the episodes directed by Sutton were, by far, the most enjoyable: "The Oasis," "Wish Upon a Star," and "One of Our Dogs is Missing," - again, all terrific. 

The scenes up on the interdimensional walkway were done 11-feet in the air with a beautiful cloud effect. And when Guy is in the cage and Drun (Mark) attacks him with a chain and torch, it's just unbelievable. We get to see an anti matter robot (the stunt robot, painted black). 

The acting, the script, the special effects, and of course, the directing, makes "The Anti-Matter Man" the best LIS had to offer.
